Meta Loses 4.3 Billion Dollars in Q4 2022 with Reality Labs

Meta, the tech giant, continues to spend heavily on the metaverse despite reporting a loss of 4.3 billion dollars in the fourth quarter of 2022, bringing the yearly total to 13.7 billion dollars. Reality Labs, the branch responsible for driving the company into the metaverse, reported the Q4 loss. The company has already lost 13.7 billion dollars this year.

Although the numbers are higher than the previous year, they are still better than the predictions of some analysts who expected Reality Labs to lose 4.4 billion dollars in Q4 and 13.8 billion dollars this year. CEO Mark Zuckerberg remains confident in his commitment to investing in the metaverse.
