Ad for job postings on LinkedIn indicate that eBay's NFT platform "KnownOrigin" is preparing for expansion. In 2021, eBay, a major e-commerce giant, started allowing NFT sales and purchases and acquired KnownOrigin in June of the same year.
The positions available are Community Manager, Content Designer, Technology Head, and eBay is also hiring a crypto consultant to provide advice on regulations, taxes, finance, privacy, IP, web3, NFT, and crypto assets.
The job push comes amid a dark cloud in the crypto market, as many crypto businesses have laid off employees and stopped hiring.
